The other day, I was contacting the media relations department of Hospital Corporation of America, a Fortune 100 company, to request an interview with their CEO.

To my surprise, Matt Bonner, a former editor for Kappa Alpha Order was the one who replied, writing, “Is this the Jason Pearce I knew from CFEA?”

Small world. Thanks to an interfraternal friendship I made at CFEA, I now have an inside man at HCA trying to secure Lambda Chi Alpha an interview with their CEO Jack O. Bovender.

“I have fond memories of my CFEA experiences,” wrote Matt. “That was always such a welcomed break from the job. Learned a lot and met some great people.”

So you never know who you might meet at CFEA.
